New features of Accenture Audit and Compliance Tool PY Version 6.0 Globalization also affects payroll accounting. Therefore, Accenture Audit and Compliance Tool 6.0 includes tailor-made functions for payroll. The new version provides users with an international data collector for carrying out transnational exception runs.  You can also set up wage type areas. These areas are groups of wage types that can be checked using one exception rule (which saves you from having to create one rule for each wage type). New payroll simulations allow you to recognize and eliminate errors in advance of the actual run. Depending on your needs, you can also define, assign and query a customer-specific exception status and display it using individual icons or texts in the exception record. Other new features are audit rules for concurrent employment and functions for a test run without a database update and a user-defined user exit. This exit allows you to incorporate the most complicated customer-specific checks (such as the plausibility of customer-specific tables) into the Audit and Compliance Tool Workbench.  New features of Accenture Audit and Compliance Tool BC/US Version 6.0 The key enhanced functions contained in the new version include a modified authorization check, a modified database for data collection, enhanced display of report results and an ad-hoc analysis function for roles. You can, for example, determine whether specific roles and profiles need to be assigned to a new employee, to enable him/her to fulfill certain duties, or whether a user requires additional or alternative roles and profiles to carry out new tasks. Version 6.0 allows users to use the new ad-hoc analysis (Check1) to verify whether the combination of assigned (old and new) roles and profiles is permitted or critical. In other words, does the desired role/profile combination correspond to the authorization rules stored, or if it is not permitted for new transactions. New features of Accenture Audit and Compliance Tool OM Version 6.0 The OM module of Accenture Audit and Compliance Tool 6.0 offers users a modified IMG, significantly enhanced check programs, a user-defined context menu in the Workbench (customer-specific transactions or programs can be called directly) and a remote comparison program. In some locations (such as cost centers or change of infotype field values), the exception option along inheritance has been added to expression types. You can now perform a check for changes to field values throughout the system. All master data of a cost center or infotype field values can now be incorporated into the check using a check table.
